postdoctoral position is available for a project on computational modeling of the
influence of alcohol on the cortico-striatal signaling. The post-doc will
design a biophysical model of the cortico-striatal brain circuitry affected by
alcohol. The position is available beginning December 2019 for one years. The
post-doc will work with Prof. Kuznetsov (Mathematics Dept. IUPUI) and
collaborate with experimentalists Prof. Atwood (IUSM) and Prof. Lapish
(Psycology Dept. IUPUI). For the first part of the project the fellow will have
the opportunity for an extended stay in Paris France together with the PI to
collaborate with Prof. Gutkin (ENS Paris). The locations provide an
excellent environment for collaborative research in quantitative biosciences.</p>
