[2009-program-committee] Abstracts

[Pontus Holm]

Dear Program Committee,

With the addition of Rolf Kötter to workshop 5 we now have all our 21 speakers in place!

Remaining tasks:
-Workshop 2 - We need a work image describing the workshop and we need speaker info from Ruttenberg.
-Workshop 5 - I have contacted Rolf today and asked for speaker info.

The keynote speakers will be asked to participate in the panel discussion of a workshop. If you would like one or two specific keynote speakers to participate in the panel discussion of your workshop, then you may want to invite him/her/them.

Abstracts:
We have received a handful of poster and demo abstracts and we expect many more in the coming weeks. You should all have been emailed by MCI with information on how to login to the service page to look at the abstracts. For the abstract review process, we will have to divide the abstracts between the program committee members in a topic oriented manner. For each abstract there will be two calls to make: 1) Accept or reject (we want to be inclusive), 2) If accept, is it also one of the three abstracts to be orally advertised at your workshop?

Me and David have discussed the format of the short presentations and suggest that they will be given one slide each to advertise rather than fully go through their abstract. Any thoughts on that?
