Following up Pontus's message: My view is that people try to cram the
whole of their talk into 5 minutes, which is a disaster. 

I think we need to give them explicit guidance that they will be allowed
just one slide (and no ingenious add ons) to advertise their talk rather
than give it. I can formulate some words to send out to selected short
presenters. Maybe we should relabel the 'short presentations' as 'brief
poster ads' or something like that?
