[2009-program-committee] May congress update

Dear program committee,

Attached you find a list of all the accepted abstracts. 96 posters and 24 demos. They will all be presented at the poster and demo session of the afternoon of the second congress day. This session will also feature canapés and drinks and will continue for as long as people want.

All poster and demo abstracts will shortly be published online with Frontiers in Neuroscience. Germany has 23 abstracts followed by US with 14 and Norway with 11.

Regarding keynote speakers in workshop discussion panels, Prinz will be in WS3, Halevy in WS2, and Doya in WS 1 or 3. Toga, Subramaniam and Schwartz have not named a workshop. I know that Schwartz would be welcome in WS1. Who of Subramaniam and Toga goes in WS4 and who in WS5?

I have abstracts from all keynotes but I am still waiting for abstracts from Ruttenberg, Clark and Grethe of WS2, Roth and Hunter from WS3, Semin and Liò of WS4, and Cardona of WS5. Please remind your speakers to submit their talk abstracts.

There are quite a few satellite events gathering around the Pilsen congress. We have started to post them at the congress web page:

I know of at least 4 or 5 additional satellite events that will be posted once they are confirmed. If you know of such an event that does not stem from the INCF Secretariat, please let me know.

The deadline for early congress registration is Monday June 1. Late registration will proceed up until the congress. Right now we have 74 registered paying participants.
