[Neuro-2008-committee] Congress update 19/10

Dear Program Committee members,

 

I have attached two documents. Congress Participants is a summary of the
status of all proposed speakers (some entries are more final than others).
Workshop Descriptions contains the proposed final titles and descriptions of
three of the workshops.

 

-Workshop D: Ulla and David are finalizing the proposed speaker list and I
hope to have it shortly. 

-Workshop B: The stated title and names are from Robs initial input on the
subject and needs to be verified.

-Workshop C: Rob named Floyd Bloom as an additional speaker candidate. I
have no further information on this workshop.

-Workshop E: Has at present two suggested names for each speaker slot.

 

Four invited keynote speakers have replied. Kennedy, Ellisman and van Essen
accepted and Dayan declined. Terry Sejnowski has been invited in his place.

 

Please let us know any comments you might have on the proposed titles,
descriptions and speakers.
