[Neuro-2008-committee] Final comments on the Congress Program

Dear program committee,

 

I hope you all have had a pleasant Christmas and a promising beginning of
the new year.

 

Attached you will find the latest version of the congress program. If you
have any comments or objections, please let the committee know shortly,
since it is my intention to display an agreed upon version on the
neuroinformatics2008 web site as soon as possible. Obviously, there will
still be the possibility to rearrange things later. 

 

The underlying thought of this program version has been to honour the idea
from the program committee meeting in October to create a fairly even spread
of interests across the days. This in order to circumvent attendees only
bothering to attend a certain day of the congress and to avoid making the
congress keynote speakers effectively an extra speaker of a workshop.

 

David Sainsbury and Paul Allen will be contacted shortly regarding
participation in workshop C. Should we fail to recruit any of these, we have
to consider other names or another workshop topic entirely. 

 

In the latest version of “Congress Participants”, available through the
internal page of the congress web page, you can view the titles of the six
keynote talks, along with the completed speaker list (disregarding workshop
C).
