19th International Neuroscience Winter Conference

Description

This conference has been established as a high-quality meeting on contemporary neuroscience for many years. For the 19th conferencewe aim at topping previous programs by inviting most distinguished neuroscientists as keynote speakers and select high-quality symposia. Sölden is an Alpine village about 1 hours drive from the city of Innsbruck in Austria. The venue is a 5-star SPA hotel in one of the largest ski resorts in Austria with a restaurant carrying prestigious awards by international restaurant guides. Normally 120-150 participants, among them a large number of recognized scientists share the opportunity to meet colleagues in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. During the day, time for skiing in the high-altitude ski resort is perfectly possible even in March.

Special Interest Sessions Posters

Keynote lectures by invitation only. Symposia and special interest sessions are selected from complete applications according to the guidelines. All other registered participants may submit one abstract for poster presentation, which must be submitted before the abstract deadline. No short oral presentations will be scheduled.

Posters: Contributions from all fields of basic neuroscience are welcome; abstracts and registration to be submitted before the abstract deadline: Feb. 10th, 2017

The conference will start on March 26th in the late afternoon and end on March 30th, 2017 in the afternoon.

The Venue

Das Central is a 5-star SPA hotel in one of the largest ski resorts in Austria with a restaurant carrying prestigious awards by international restaurant guides. We have reserved a contingency of rooms at a reduced price for conference participants and their accompanying persons, which is of great value considering that a sumptuous breakfast and a 5-course dinner as well as a gala dinner on one evening is included in the conference rate. Furthermore, hotel residents receive free access to the SPA area. Free wireless internet access is available. A free hotel shuttle transfers hotel guests to the closest ropeways for entering the ski resort, only a minute away.
