Now beginning its eleventh year, The Year in Cognitive Neuroscience reviews series (2017 in preparation, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008) is open for presubmission inquiries for scholarly reviews in all areas of cognitive neuroscience.

The Year in Cognitive Neuroscience series, edited by Alan Kingstone and Michael Miller, with input from an international editorial board (Ralph Adolphs, Michael C. Corballis, Michael Gazzaniga, Mel Goodale, Scott T. Grafton, Elisabetta Làdavas, Adrian M. Owen, and Daniel Schacter), has firmly established itself in the cognitive neuroscience community as a preeminent source of information on cutting-edge topics. Over the last ten years, the series has published ~100 scholarly reviews, with an average of 105 citations per paper and an h-index of 42 (as of April 2017).

Please submit a cover letter (maximum 1000 words) summarizing the topic, goals, and theme of the proposed review. Please also include a list of 10–15 primary research articles published in the past 5 years that highlight the timeliness and empirical foundation of the proposed article. Proposals must be submitted by no later than June 1, 2017. Papers will be published online ahead of print throughout the last quarter of 2017 and in print in early 2018.
