Dear colleagues,

we have an opening for a 5-year, fully-funded

*Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellowship in Neuromorphic Machine Learning*

in the Biocomputation group at the University of Hertfordshire. 

We are looking for candidates with the potential for groundbreaking research in the interdisciplinary field of neuromorphic computing, focusing on machine learning and pattern recognition, and branching out into artificial intelligence, computational neuroscience, robotics and data science.

This prestigious position is intended to enable an outstanding junior researcher, who has already achieved an initial track record, to establish a scientific reputation that will enable them to obtain a tenured position within 5 years. 

The University of Hertfordshire is located in Hatfield, just north of London. Hatfield is well connected to London (20 min to King's Cross by train), Cambridge (1h by train), and Luton and Stansted Airports (30 and 50 mins, via coach).
