*****************

*Workshop Theme:*

Technology is allowing the acquisition of unprecedented information related
to individuals’ mental health, emotional wellbeing and resilience as well
as the provision of novel methods of mental disease treatment. However, to
date, much of the research has been overly focused on the technical
domains, and despite the critical role that businesses play within the
development of mental healthcare, the impact upon society and humans has
received relatively little attention. This special session of BIH will
provide a space where the business and technology (especially Big Data
technology) of personalised mental healthcare meet. We are interested in
discussing how to leverage the opportunities offered by recent
technological advancements in order to build new business models that
provide improved mental health services for both healthy subjects and
diagnosed patients.

*Topics:*

* Business models for personal / wearable / ubiquitous services for
non-diagnosed people with mental health concerns

* Big data driven mental healthcare services and applications (deep
learning, behaviour change)

* Social networks, social media for mental health assessment and awareness

* Applications and their business models for specific mental diseases

* Commercial, social, and governmental mental healthcare services models

* WaaS (Wisdom as a Service) and active SaaS services for mental healthcare

* Screenless and slow or adaptive media solutions for Evidence-Based Social
Interventions
