Due to many requests received the deadline for paper submission at MIUA
2017 has been extended. MIUA 2017 is the 21^st edition of the Medical
Image Understanding and Analysis Conference Series for communicating
research progress within the community interested in biomedical image
analysis. Its goals are the dissemination and discussion of research in
medical image processing and analysis and aims to encourage the growth
and raise the profile of this multi-disciplinary field.
*Paper Submissions:*
Full papers of length between 8 and 12 pages (1 column – LNCS Springer
format) showing original research contributions under the topics of the
conference are invited.
This year, the conference proceedings will be published in the Springer
CCIS – Communications in Computer and Information Science
<http://www.springer.com/series/7899>.
A selection of the best papers will be invited to submit an extend
version to the special issue “Selected papers from MIUA 2017”
<http://www.mdpi.com/journal/jimaging/special_issues/MIUA_2017>of the
Journal of Imaging <http://www.mdpi.com/journal/jimaging>.
